Electric Forest Photography Program:
A Memorable Experience

At Electric Forest, the FRU team was deeply involved in various aspects of the festival, alongside the Brainery. We hosted a Brainery session focused on community mindfulness with HerForest, which highlighted the importance of fostering a supportive festival environment. Several of us were fortunate enough to participate in the Plug In program. Female Ravers United was at Electric Forest in full force. Ellie Barker, Creator and Founder of FRU represent the group and their publication through the Unmediated Program with help from Imani Williams, aka Givemeplur. We were also thrilled to see Alycia Grace, one of our beloved members, making her own waves with her spot on EForest Radio.

These programs were designed to immerse us in the world of major festival photography. They provided valuable guidance and offered us our first opportunities to photograph large-scale events, access photo pits, interact with artists, and creatively engage with our content. Beyond the professional growth, these experiences allowed us to connect with other creatives and forge meaningful relationships. It was an enriching and unforgettable journey.
